KEY HIGHLIGHTS

• Property & Setting: This project involved a series of rooms within the ACU campus, featuring high ceilings with decorative pressed‑metal patterns, tall sash windows and deep skirting boards. The existing paintwork was tired and dated, and the goal was to revitalise these spaces while respecting their heritage character and improving functionality for staff and students.
• Scope: Our team completed a full interior repaint of offices and classrooms. Surfaces were cleaned, patched and primed, including ornate ceilings, window frames, architraves and skirting boards. We worked around fixtures and installed new built-in shelving using low-odour, quick-drying products to minimise disruption. Cables and services were carefully managed for a neat finish.
• Finishes & Colour Palette: A light, neutral tone was chosen for the walls to brighten the rooms, with the existing pastel‑green trims refreshed to highlight architectural details. A bold purple band was introduced at mid‑wall height throughout the rooms to reflect the university’s branding and add visual interest. Ceilings and cornices were finished in crisp white to showcase the pressed‑metal patterns.
• Result: The painted spaces now feel fresh and inviting, with a cohesive colour scheme that ties the rooms together and echoes ACU’s identity. The purple accent stripe adds a contemporary touch without detracting from the heritage features, while the clean neutral walls and trim provide a calm backdrop. High‑quality application ensures durability and enhance the comfort and professionalism of the university environment.
