FRESHWATER
COASTAL EXTERIOR PAINTING
KEY HIGHLIGHTS
- Property & Setting: The Freshwater project involved refreshing the exterior of a residential home in a beachside suburb. The house features multiple levels with a mix of rendered masonry and timber cladding, landscaped gardens, and a pitched roof typical of coastal architecture.
- Scope: A thorough exterior repaint covered walls, eaves, fascia, frames, garage doors, fencing, and timber/metal elements. All surfaces were pressure-washed, repaired, sanded, and primed to ensure excellent adhesion and durability before applying topcoats.
- Finishes & Colour Palette: A light, neutral palette brightens the façade and harmonises with the coastal setting. Soft whites on walls paired with mid-grey trims and darker accents on doors and gutters create a subtle contrast, highlighting architectural details while weather-resistant finishes protect against salt and sun.
- Result: The project has given the property a clean, contemporary appearance that enhances its street appeal and safeguards it against the elements. The cohesive colour scheme ties together the various materials and architectural features, delivering a fresh yet timeless look.
