• Property & Setting: The Freshwater Hotel is a prominent coastal hospitality venue with a classic, heritage-inspired facade. The building features multiple elevations, rendered walls, balconies, decorative balustrades, awnings and roofline details, all highly visible from surrounding streets and pedestrian areas.
• Scope: Our team completed a full exterior repaint of the hotel, including rendered walls, columns, balustrades, balconies, window surrounds and architectural details. Surfaces were carefully prepared to address coastal weathering, then primed and coated. Works were staged to minimise disruption to operations.
• Finishes & Colour Palette: A crisp white finish was applied across the main façade to enhance the hotel’s coastal character and architectural lines. Dark navy accents on awnings and trim create contrast and complement existing branding, while refreshed roof and feature details ensure a cohesive, polished appearance.
• Result: The completed project delivers a fresh, elegant exterior that significantly enhances the hotel’s street presence. The clean colour scheme highlights the building’s heritage features while providing durable protection against coastal conditions, reinforcing Freshwater Hotel’s iconic and welcoming identity.
